Shelleng Emir swears-in five newly appointed District Heads

The Emir (Amna) of Shelleng in Adamawa state, Alhaji Abdullahi Isa Dasong has on Friday sworn-in five Newly appointed District Heads including his younger brother, Farouk Isa Dasong.
Our correspondent reports that Farouk Dasong was sworn-in as the District Head of Buba-yero.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, the Emir urged the newly appointed District Heads to be good ambassadors of Shelleng Emirate.
He advised the District Heads to work diligently for peace and progress of Shelleng Emirate and Adamawa State at large.
The monarch commended the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for providing the enabling environment for the creation of five additional Districts in Shelleng local government area.
Our Corresspondent gathered that the additional districts created by Governor Fintiri’s adminstration include Buba-yero, Gusungu, Kiri-east Kula-kula and Wuro-yanka.
Prominent personalities that graced the occasion include Polo Dadiya, HRH Abdulkadir Abubakar Galadima, Kwandi Nunguraya, Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda of Lunguda Kingdom who was ably represented by the Waziri Lunguda, and Malam Abdurrahman Isa Dasong, Hakimin Shelleng.
The swearing-in ceremony which was held at the Emir’s Palace also had in attendance, prominent traditional title holders among others.
The turbaning ceremony for the five District Heads is slated to a yet to be announced date.
