Song District Head commended for appointing Dr. Abubakar Musa as Danlawan

The District Head of Song, Ardo Ahmadu Sa’idu has been applauded for appointing the Medical Director of Federal Medical Center Nguru, Yobe state, Dr. Abubakar Musa as the new Danlawan of Song.

Our Corresspondent gathered that the Danlawan Song is an illustrious indigene of the area who has reached to the apex in his professional field.

The Danlawan Song, Baushe Daily Times, also reports, was accompanied to the District Head’s palace by families, friends and colleagues and was welcomed to the palace by drummers and flute players that added color to the event.

While speaking on behalf of the family, the former Grand Kadi of Adamawa State Justice Usman Aliyu Girei thanked the District Head for finding Dr Abubakar worthy of the traditional title.

He expressed gratitude to Allah for making it possible for Dr Abubakar to be bestowed with the new traditional title.

He noted that Dr. Abubakar Musa has excelled among his peers, adding that the new traditional title bestowed on him did not come as a surprise.

“We are here to appreciate His Royal Highness for recognizing our own who has excelled in his professional calling. He will no doubt contribute immensely to the development of the area”, the Grand Khadi said.

Also commenting, the Head of Information unit, FMC Nguru, Kaku Musa Commended Ardo Song for bestowing the title of Danlawan Song on the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Abubakar Musa.

“Danlawan, as the title that has been conferred on him today is actually done at a right time to a right person”, he said.

“We know that he can contribute positively, he can advise and he can create and invite so many progress to the council because he is a person who is straight forward, very focused and result-oriented”, he further said.

In his remarks, the District Head, Ardo Ahmadu Sa’idu said that the extraordinary sacrifices and exceptional qualities Dr. Abubakar Musa possesses, made him worthy to be part of the Song District traditional council.

“Because of his pedigree, trustworthiness, sacrifices and exceptional qualities, I am today, confirming on Dr. Abubakar Musa the traditional title of Danlawan Song”, he said.

According to the District Head, Song District is lucky to have Dr. Abubakar Musa as a member of its council.

At a reception organised to mark the event, the new Danlawan Song expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for making it possible for him to be bestowed with the traditional title.

“First of all, I would like to thank the Almighty Allah for making it possible for me to see this day that we came to thank His Royal Highness the Ardo of Song. I want to express my appreciation to my family, colleagues, friends and staff of the Federal Medical Centre Nguru who came all the way from Nguru to felicitate with me and accompany me to the palace of His Royal Highness the District Head.
