SUG ATAP felicitates with Muslim students over Ramadan fasting

The Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP) Chapter of the Students Union Government (SUG) has felicitated with its fellow Students on the occasion of this year’s Holy Month of Ramadan.
This was contained in a press statement signed and circulated to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday by the public relations officer of the union, Comrade Abubakar Mohammadu.
“Indeed, whatever is scheduled, Surely sooner or later would come except for the fact that an inevitable death has overcome you”, the press statement said.
The Union while expressing gratitude to Allah for yet another period of Ramadan, urged Muslims to dedicate themselves towards appreciation, supplications and above all, worship to Almighty Allah, the creator.
“Our appreciation, supplications, dedication be to the Creater, Omnipotent, Omniscience and the Controller of the seven earths and heavens, peace and blessings of Allah be upon a Samaritan, philanthropist and ever created mankind before or after, the unique, and sole,capable on the day of resurrection the prophet and messenger of Allah Muhammad (S.a.w)”, the press statement reads.
“Our countless gratitudes be to Almighty Allah once more , who spared our lives to be among those who witnessed another Month of Ramadan (fasting) In which along the line many have passed on, not because of their foolishness or dislike of their precious lives but out of the destiny of our lord no one shall pass the time/day of his /her demise, with even a single second”, it added.
The Union which prayed that the Almighty Allah would grant the souls of all the departed muslims eternal rest and their immediate family fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.
The SUG urged the Muslims to see this year’s month of Ramadan as the last in their lives and also a previlege and avenue to intensify their efforts in worshipping Allah with the hope of accepting their Ibadaat and other righteous acts.
He equally urged them to see the Ramadan month as an opportunity to seek for forgiveness for their shortcomings and erroneous acts.
“Ramadan is a time of sober reflection among muslims and even adherents of other religions, it is the right time for me and you to fully take the advantage to pray for our country Nigeria to overcome its numerous challenges, this is the time you use to pray for yourself, family and friends among other people around you for the achievement of the desired objectives”, the union stated.
It noted that the importance of holy month of Ramadan cannot be over emphasized, adding that, it is a time of re-multiplying good deeds into countless, it is the time of extending hands of fellowship to the needy, poor, vulnerables among muslims and non muslims.
The Union reminded that the month of Ramadan is a period of showcasing pitty and compassion of Islam which means peaceful living.
The Union while rejoicing with the entire muslim-students within and outside the school campus on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wish them a very good and acceptance fasting ahead.
“May you see the Holy Month to its end as you see the beginning in a healthy and well-being. May our country Nigeria rid out of its over a decade insecurity challenges”, they prayed.
