Mammoth crowd of Christians led by a die-hard advocate of Tinubu Presidency, Dr. Godfrey Manasseh yesterday staged a rally in Tafawa Balewa town to celebrate the victory of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last Saturday general polls.
Our correspondent reports that the party supporters were drawn from across Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa LGAs, a federal constituency been represented by former speaker Yakubu Dogara.
Speaking during the victory rally organized by a Christian Youth Group, Dr. Godfrey Manasseh said that the crowd were participating in the rally to celebrate the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We are here to celebrate the victory of the man we trust and know that he is full of capacity and the man we know that God himself has brought him to be the leader of the federal republic of Nigeria”, he said.
According to him, “we want the world to know that despite the fact that this is purely a Christian community, we trusted and voted for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
The christian group while wishing Tinubu well in his tenure, prayed that he will lead Nigeria to greatness by replicating what he did in Lagos as Governor.
“We believe in Jagaban, we want him to come down to Tafawa Balewa, Dass and Bogoro and put a mark of himself in this constituency so that those who did not believe in him will know that we didn’t trust him in vain”, Dr. Manasseh pleaded.
“We need roads, all these are young people who believe Asiwaju is coming to make a positive difference in their lives. Women are also part of this movement, this movement is for youth and women and we believe Tinubu is a raiser of men, he will come down to this community and make us proud so that this colorful rally we held will nit go in vain”, he further stated.
While wishing Tinubu the best of Presidency and best administration Nigeria could ever experienced, Dr. Godfrey appreciated Nigerians for reposing confidence in Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
One of the jubilant, Jeremiah Diga said they were very excited that Tinubu won the election, adding that they are very sure of his capacity to deliver Nigeria.
Diga who said Muslim Muslim Presidency will not cause any problem, advised Nigerians to remove tribalism, religious and regional differences to enable the country attend greatness.
