Written By Mohammed Kaka Misau

The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaba) has approved the upgrade of FMC Azare to the status of Teaching Hospital in addition to the relocation of Federal Medical Centre Azare to Misau.

With this development, the General Hospital Misau is been upgraded to the status of Federal Medical Centre, a concrete move by the federal government to bring tertiary health facilities to local communities for better and quality health care services at the grassroots.

In another dimension, the initiative will bring more economic development for the Misau Emirate, as traders, contractors landlords, and laborers among others would benefit from this development.

Going by this development, Misau has now become among the local government areas in Bauchi with the second federal health institution, this will serve the citizens within and neighboring local governments and even states bordering Misau from traveling far distances to access quality health services.

In this journey of success and fetching from dividends of democracy spearheaded by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Ali Mohamed Fate (Chigarin Misau) minister of health and social welfare deserves commendation.

It is equally worthy that the good people of Misau Emirate and Bauchi state in general be reminded that Prof Fate has succeeded in bringing an institution that will generate over 500 million monthly, create job opportunities for over 5000 people, and by extension, more than 7000 people will benefit in one way or the other.

In the next 10 years insha’Allah our young graduates will have job opportunities at home.

The people of Misau Emirate are short of words to appreciate the minister for this giant and milestone achievements. At this point, I wish to say “Allah hokku jamm, Mun gode, we appreciate your efforts. You have indeed written your name with a golden pen in the history of the Misau Emirate. You are a beacon of hope and an achiever.
God bless you, Sir.
