This is why Nigeria as a Nation has sovereignty Domiciled the practice in order to favour it’s Citizenry to compete favourably with its Counterparts worldwide.
Interestingly, on the 25th of February, 2023 Nigeria has again since its Democratic existence in 1999 conducted another free, fair and credible election for next four years tenure after the expiration of the last four years term from 2019 to 2023.
The 2023 poll which was held across the 36 states of the Federation was to elect Next President, Governors, Senators and house of Representative members within their different political Constituencies.
Discharging this franchise in Bauchi North Senatorial district was not an exception, as eligible voters from Katagum zone, Bauchi North Senatorial district have massively voted into power, their Senator who will represent them in the red chamber at the national level.
The biography and political history of this humble and friendly politician, Sama’ila Dahuwa, the kachallan Katagum has become a fact which can be reflected as a bonafied son of the Soil of Katagum zone whose dedication, compassion as well as expertise propelled him to be a professional medical Doctor whose professionalism in serving humanity made him become one time Bauchi State Commissioner of Health. He was also recognized with the conferment of traditional title of (kachallan katagum)
This indeed has made him become trustworthy, dignified and respectable personality within and outside katagum zone which the masses see no any other person that has this full Capacity and competency rather than him thereby Casting their vote to him as Senator Bauchi North Senatorial district under the platform of the people Democratic party (PDP)
Recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Dr Samaila Kaila (kachallan katagum) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Some candidates lost while others won and kachallan katagum was among the lucky ones to have won Bauchi North Senatorial District election.
The Returning Officer, Prof. Ahmad, said Samaila Dahuwa secured one hundred and two thousand and fourty three votes (102,043 ) to defeat his closest rival, Sirajo Tanko, of All Progressive Congress (APC), who got one hundred thousand Two hundred and fourty six votes (100,246).
“Dr Samaila Dahuwa of the PDP, having satisfied the requirements of the law, is hereby declared winner and returned elected,” he announced.
With this declaration by INEC kachallan katagum now has all confidence and indefatigable efforts to restore Bauchi North Senatorial district back to its lost glory, because he is an iconic hero and polical Messiah as well.
Surely, the entire constituents’ dreams, yearnings and aspirations have been fully actualized by having such gargantuan individual on their behalf as they spent their whole night on the announcement date with their two eyes opened for an unmeasurable excitement and pleasures glorifying, supplicating and praying to Almighty Allah for the guidance to their leader throughout his tenure.
