VOTE OF THANKS TO BAUCHI NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT

Distinguished guests, dear compatriots, ladies and gentlemen. Today, I am extremely grateful to almighty Allah for making all of us witness this significant moment. I am truly honoured and humbled that the delegates and indeed the APC members of Bauchi North Senatorial District have found me worthy of flying the flag of our great party (the APC) at the forthcoming general election.

Today’s (28th May, 2022) victory is not about me. The victory belongs to the entire APC family and everyone that has made struggles and sacrifices to make this moment possible and I cherish the efforts made by every person.

To my eminent co-aspirants, my fathers; distinguished senator and former deputy governor, and also my honorable brother; a formidable and worthy co-aspirant; campaigning through the looks and cronies of our district against people like you has made me realize the importance of the position we all vied for, placing me on the proper pedestal to understand the yearnings and aspirations of our people. You have all run astonishing, purposeful and hard-fought campaigns for the common progress of our party and people. I believe that we are stronger together to achieve our common goal and now is the time to join hands and make a new start as we move forward to face the general elections. I most humbly and respectfully call on all of you to join me in the next and most important phase of our electoral system so that our great party the APC will emerge victorious come February 2023. Your experiences, knowledge and doggedness are needed now more than ever. I am willing and ready to work with each and everybody to ensure that we win the Bauchi North Senatorial election and most importantly, bring quality representation for the good people of Bauchi North Senatorial District.

Talking about representation. We have in the course of our campaign restated our commitment to the people of Bauchi North Senatorial District promising to achieve (objectives) if elected. These objectives we have set out remain the same and we are resolute on achieving each and every one of them if given the mandate. We have no doubt that in the course of time, things will change and there will be a need to re-strategize, as a friendly and approachable person, I pledge to make myself available to all and sundry, and listen to any advise or proposal that shall be in the best interest of all of us.

I want to thank each and everyone, the leaders of our great party from the National Level down to the Ward Level, the Delegates, Royal Fathers, Community Leaders, Volunteers, my Campaign Organization and all other persons who due to the overwhelming effect of this victory I may have inadvertently omitted. I thank everyone that has taken time to speak to in the course of my campaigns. I thank you all.
