ES Hospital management board leads sanitation and fumigation exercise at Itas Gadau General Hospital

The Executive Secretary (ES) of the Bauchi state hospital management Board, Dr. Sambo Muhammad Alkali, has led a major sanitation and fumigation exercise at the Itas Gadau General Hospital.
The exercise is aimed at promoting public health and protecting patients from disease outbreaks.
The event was attended by the representative of the District Head of Itas Gadau, Alhaji Nasiru A. Kabir, and the Vice Chairman of Itas Gadau Local Government, Shayibu Ahmad, who represented the LG Chairperson. Both delivered encouraging remarks, emphasizing the importance of environmental cleanliness in healthcare facilities.
Various community groups and residents also participated in the exercise, expressing satisfaction with the initiative and pledging their continued support to maintain hygiene and protect public health.
The exercise, spearheaded by the Hospital Management Board under Dr. Sambo’s leadership, forms part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery and safeguard the well-being of citizens across Bauchi State.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Sambo Alkali urged the people of Itas Gadau to remain committed to maintaining their hospital and safeguarding all government facilities in the area for the collective development and benefit of the community.
