Bauchi @50: Giade LG Chairman Felicitates with Governor Mohammed

The Executive Chairman of Giade Local Government Area, Hon. Usman Muhammad Saleh Randy, has congratulated the Bauchi State Governor and the entire people of the state on the occasion of 50th anniversary of Bauchi State.
Hon Randy who stated in a goodwill message on Sunday, described the Golden Jubilee as a historic milestone that reflects decades of resilience, unity and steady progress.
The LG chairman said the anniversary provides an opportunity for the people of Bauchi to reflect on the journey so far since its creation to its present status as a centre of peace, culture and development in the North-East.
He commended the foresight of the founding fathers and the collective sacrifices of citizens that have sustained the state over the past five decades.
The Giade LG chairman praised the leadership of the Governor, noting that the current administration has deepened democratic governance and accelerated development across critical sectors.
According to him, the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance has strengthened trust between government and the people, while promoting peace and stability across all local government areas.
Hon. Randy highlighted visible infrastructural development under the present administration, particularly in road construction, rural connectivity and urban renewal projects.
He said these interventions have improved economic activities, eased transportation challenges and enhanced access to markets, healthcare and education for thousands of residents, especially at the grassroots.
On education, the chairman applauded the Governor’s investments in school rehabilitation, teacher welfare and youth development programmes.
He noted that these efforts are laying a solid foundation for human capital development, empowering young people with skills and knowledge required to compete favourably in a changing world.
The Giade council boss also commended strides recorded in the health sector, citing improved healthcare facilities, recruitment of medical personnel and increased access to primary healthcare services. He stressed that a healthier population is key to sustainable development and economic growth in the state.
In the area of agriculture, Hon. Randy acknowledged policies aimed at supporting farmers through improved inputs, extension services and rural empowerment initiatives.
He said such programmes have boosted food security, increased farmers’ income and strengthened Bauchi State’s position as an agrarian hub.
He further praised the Governor’s emphasis on security and peaceful coexistence, describing it as a cornerstone for development.
According to him, sustained collaboration with security agencies and community leaders has helped maintain relative peace, creating a conducive environment for investment and social harmony.
He reaffirmed the loyalty and support of Giade Local Government to the Bauchi State Government, pledging continued cooperation to drive people-oriented programmes.
Hon Randy called on citizens to use the Golden Jubilee celebration to renew their commitment to unity, hard work and collective responsibility for the future of the state.
He concluded by wishing the Governor and the people of Bauchi State a successful and memorable 50th anniversary celebration, expressing optimism that the next decades would usher in greater prosperity, inclusive growth and lasting development for all.
