2027: We have capable Governorship contenders from Bauchi Central – Ex-Bauchi PDP chairman says

The immediate past Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Bauchi state Chapter, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam has disclosed that Bauchi Central Zone of the state has capable Governorship contenders to be presented for elections in 2027.

Hamza made this known during a special stakeholders meeting of the party for central zone held in Misau on Sunday under leadership of central zone chairman, Hon sani Mohammed Burra.

The former state chairman of the party, Alhaji Hamza who thanked the people of the zone for supporting him throughout his two terms, noted that the party confronted electioneering in 2019 as an opposition but won against the incumbent.

“That is why I am assuring you that we have those who can contest for Governorship seat and win from this zone, we have political land Armies, it’s just a matter of time”, the Ex-Bauchi PDP chairman said.

He also appealed to those he has offended during his reign as party chairman to forgive him as well as forgive everyone for the progress of the party.

In a goodwill message, former Secretary to the Bauchi State Government (SSG), Alh Ahmed Ibrahim Dandija appreciated members for maintaining cordial relationship among them.

Also speaking, Chairman of Misau local government area, Hon Salisu Hussaini Hardawa appreciated members of the party for attending the meeting, praying God to grant the participants safe journey back to their respective destinations.

Our correspondent reports that the meeting was attended by many important dignitaries from all Six local government areas of the zone.
