JAMB Boss visits its CBT center at  Bauchi College and reels out the benefits

The Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) Professor Is-haq Oloyede on Friday paid an inspection visit to the JAMB`s ICT center at the Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare, Bauchi state.
The Provost of the College had a fruitful discussion with the Registrar on how to utilise the centre for the benefits of the College and the society. He then directed the CBT center to be used by the college for mass and gradual training of students instead of staying closed and opened only once in a year for JAMB examinations.
He emphasised on the need for all the students to be trained on ICT to enable them become computer literate before graduation so that the name of the college would become synonymous with computer literacy.
He extended the gesture to other tertiary institutions in Bauchi and other neighbouring states that may be interested and urged the zonal Director of JAMB, Hon Danladi Mohammed to organize the training
 
Present during the visit, was the Executive Secretary, Nigerian University Commission (NUC), who also pledged to support the College on all matters that relate to his establishment.
 
The NUC executive secretary also asked the College to submit all its proposed courses for consideration by the Commission.
The provost was supported by all her Principal Officers.
 
Baushe Times Correspondent gathered that the purpose of the visit by the JAMB Registrar was to inspect the newly constructed CBT centre in the College.
