A member representing Misau federal constituency in the Nigerian house of representatives, Hon. Ibrahim Makama Misau has sponsored a bill for the establishment of federal college of Agriculture and agricultural mechanization in Misau local government area of Bauchi state.
The bill which has sinced passed through first reading was contained in an order paper of the house of representatives, item three of presentation of bills.
The bill titled ‘college of Agriculture and agricultural mechanization, Misau, Bauchi state (establishment) bill, 2021 (HB.1791) (Hon. Ibrahim Makama Misau) was dated Thursday 16 December, 2021 in the order paper.
Our Corresspondent gathered that Hon Makama sponsored the bill for the establishment of the institution in order to create more learning opportunities for the teaming youths in his constituency and by extension, Bauchi state.
The bill as sponsored by Makama who is also the house Committee chairman, privatization and commercialization, if passed into law, will also create job opportunities for the people.
