We will work together to oust PDP govt in 2023, says Bauchi APC Guber candidate, Sadique Abubakar

The newly elected gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi, former Air Marshal Ambassador Sadiq Baba Abubakar has promised to work in unity with other contenders within his party to defeat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023.
Ambassador Sadique stated this while answering questions from newsmen at Zaranda hotel Bauchi, shortly after he was declared winner of the APC primary election on Friday.
The APC Gubernatorial candidate who said his victory at the primary election is a victory for the entire people of Bauchi state, noted that he will not take the confidence reposed in him by his party for granted.
“This is not a victory for me alone but it’s a victory for all of us, and I want to assure you that we will work together in order to change the narratives about Bauchi state. So, the victory is for everybody”, Ambassador Sadique declared.
The APC Gubernatorial candidate who said, what is left now is for the party faithfuls to work together towards the 2023 general elections, pointed out that the PDP led administration will be defeated by the APC.
“What I am saying is that we will certainly remove the PDP in 2023”, Ambassador Sadique vowed.
Declaring the results of the primary election, the Chairman, election committee, Barr. Ali Sa’ad said Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar polled 370 votes to defeat other aspirants.
He said a total number of delegates accredited stood at 1,028 while 1,021 votes were cast.
