“Auwal Jatau contested in 2003 and he won house of assembly seat and he was elected the speaker of the house, he was the most youngest speaker ever in the history of Bauchi state. He was re-elected in 2007 and was chosen as minority leader during Yuguda administration”, the coordinator recalled.

He further said Auwal Jatau was also elected member house of representatives in 2011 where he did 4 years before he contested for governorship in 2015.
