Families and well wishers expressed their happiness on the out come of Village Heads election held in Misau emirate during the week.

The election of village Heads conducted under the supervision of the emirate at Dambam and Misau local government areas.

The election of village head of Yamai in Dambam local government area was won by Alh. Mohd Jamilu Usman.

Also In Misau local government area the election conducted for the village head of Beti in Chiroma district were won by Alh. Mohd Sarkina Beti while the other election of village head of Jarkasa in Hardawa district was won by Alh Aminu Yusuf Jarkasa(phd in view) respectively.

The chairman of the elections commitee, District head of Jalam Alh. Sale Mohd Jalam applauded the contestants and the electorate for the maturity shown during the conduct of the elections.

Alh Saleh Muhammad tasked the winners to respect the traditional norms of the emirate for improvement of Northern cultural values.

In his good will message, the Chairman of Misau local government Hon Abubakar Ahmed Garkuwan Misau, enjoyed the traditional rulers in the emirate to support the present government policies and programmes.

The chairman congratulated the winners and urged them to do justice and respect the constitutional authorities in discharging their responsibilities.

In their separate response, the trio elected village Heads, expressed their loyalty to Misau emirate and the government of Governor Bala A. Mohd.

They solicit support and cooperation of their people to enable them discharge diligently.
