Aminu Saleh college ends 1st semester, declare two weeks break

The Aminu Saleh college of education Azare has declared Wednesday 29th June, 2022 as end of its 1st semester, adding that the institution is to also go on two weeks break effective Wednesday this week.

The management of the institution which made the declaration in a circular made available to newsmen in Bauchi Wednesday, pointed out that the second semester will commence two weeks after Sallah celebration.

“Following the successful completion of the 1st Semester in
respect of the 2021/2022 Academic Session, I am directed to
write and inform you that the Provost has approved for the
commencement of the end of Semester/Sallah (Eid el Kabir)
Break for a fortnight (2-weeks) effective from today
(Wednesday 29 June, 2022)”, the circular which was signed by Sulaiman Shehu said.

He however noted that, staff on essential duties such as the School of
Educational Services, Security, Borehole Operators, Gardeners,
Animal Herders, Bursary and Clinic are hereby exempted from
the break as usual.

“In view of the above, you are kindly requested to note that the
registration of the students for the 2nd Semester (2021/2022)
academic session commences on-line as earlier scheduled”, the management noted.

It directed that all other academic and administrative activities shall
resume fully on Wednesday 13″ July, 2022 unfailingly.

The circular was copied to all Principal Officers, Deans & Directors, Sectional & Unit Heads, Chief security, Union Chairmen, SUG President as well pasted on notice boards at strategic areas within the college.
