APC to commence primary election Today Thursday

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has fixed Thursday 26th May, 2022 for the commencement of the primaries.

A document signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Barrister Felix Morka indicated that the governorship and state assembly primaries is to hold Thursday, 26th May, 2022, with state delegates and local government delegates respectively.

The document which is titled, “Revised APC TimeTable For 2023 Primary Elections”, dated 23rd May, 2022 also showed that the primary election for Senate will hold the next day, Friday, with local government delegates.

The document said that the house representatives primaries will hold on Saturday, 28th May, 2022 with local government delegates.

The party further noted that the special convention for the presidential primary will be held as scheduled on Sunday, 29th to Monday 30th May, 2022
