The Nigerian Army Armour School Bauchi is to conduct firepower demonstration for the visiting Junior students of course 94 from Armed Forces Command and College Jaji.
Subsequently the school will conduct firepower demonstration to junior students course one and leadership staff officers of the Nigerian Army college of logistics Lagos who are on tour to Bauchi.
A statement signed by the Acting Deputy Director Nigerian Army Public Relations, Nureni Alimi said the exercise would be conducted on Monday first August at victor kure armour range along Bauchi Jos road from six AM to six PM.
The statement says during the exercise there will be massive movement of troops and equipment and urges people not to panic on hearing sound of gunshots.
It advises members of the public especially the host communities, fulani cattle rearers to stay away from the area throughout the period of the exercise.
According to the statement the Nigerian Army is committed to protect lives and property of the people during the exercise and solicit for their support and cooperation.
