BAUCHI ASSEMBLY DONATES TRUCK TO IBRAHIM BAKO ESTATE MOSQUE.

The Bauchi State House of Assembly has donated a truck to Ibrahim Bako Estate Juma’ah Mosque for the conveyance of corpses to cemeteries.

Presenting the vehicle to the community of the Estate at the Assembly Complex, Speaker of the House Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman said the donation is the fulfillment of the pledge made by the Assembly during the commissioning of the Juma’ah Mosque by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad months ago.

The Speaker who hoped that the truck will help them in conveyance of dead ones to cemeteries, urged them to make good use of it.

“On behalf of Honourable Members and Staff of Bauchi State House of Assembly, I present you this truck for conveyance of dead bodies to cemetery.” He said.

In his remarks, Deputy Speaker Hon. Danlami Ahmed Kawule shown his appreciation for the gesture to the Ibrahim Bako Estate community which is part of his Constituency.

He prayed that the cooperation and brotherhood existing between the Assembly and its host community, Ibrahim Bako Estate, will continue.

Receiving the truck, Ward Head of Ibrahim Bako Estate Dr Bala Musa Lukshi expressed the utmost appreciation of the Mosque Steering Committee and the community of the Estate to the Honourable Members and staff of the State Assembly for the kind gesture.

The Ward Head who said the donation of the truck brings to an end the difficulties they faced in taking their loved ones who died to cemeteries, explained that it will help the community of the Estate and neighbouring areas immensely.

While praying to Almighty Allah to bless and reward the Members and Staff of the legislative arm, Dr Bala Lukshi used the opportunity to thank Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad for constructing the Mosque which he said is a special landmark in the area.

Also Speaking the Chairman of the Mosque Steering Committee Mallam Abdul’aziz Ibrahim Al-misri narrated how they started the construction of the Mosque through collection of donations from individuals in which the 8th Assembly made some donations while Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad who found the Mosque at linter level, completed the Mosque.

“Today is a special day to all of us because with the donation of this truck, what we have started as foundation for the Mosque has come to final stage. We pray to Allah Subhanahu wata’ala reward you abundantly.” He said.
