Bauchi college grieves as 200 level student dies

The management of College of Education, Legal and General Studies, Misau in Bauchi state has been grieved as a result of the death of one its female students, Sadiya Adamu Bala.

A press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the College, Sagir Mukhtar on Monday said that the deceased died at the General Hospital Misau.

“Sadiya Adamu Bala, a 200 Level student from School of Legal Studies, Department of Shariah and Civil Law has passed on in the early hours of today 31st January, 2022 at General Hospital Misau”, the press release explained.

It added that the deceased was admitted at the Hospital since Saturday 29th January, 2022.

According to the management of the college, Sadiya, hails from Ningi Local Government area of Bauchi state.

The press release noted that her funeral prayer was performed yesterday in accordance with the islamic teachings at the College’s Central Mosque.

It further said that the College’s Provost Dr. Auwal Ibrahim Amba has, on behalf of the College’s Management condoled with the family and friends of the deceased and prayed Almighty Allah to overlook her shortcomings and grant her Jannah.

The press release said all academic activities were suspended by the management on Monday in order to mourn the deceased.
