Bauchi Governor distributes cars to LG Chairmen, District Heads, urges them to promote school enrollment, security

Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi state has distributed official vehicles to 20 Local government Chairmen and district heads across the state.

The Governor while speaking during the distribution exercise at the Ramat House yesterday said that the gesture was meant to assist them discharge their responsibilities with ease.

Bala also appealed to the District Heads to assist the government in promoting the ongoing school enrollment so as to address the menace of Out-of-school Children in the state.

The Governor also called on the traditional rulers to support the effort of his administration in the area of promotion of peace for the rapid development of Bauchi state.

Speaking on behalf of the District Heads, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu commended Governor Bala Mohammed for prudently managing the resources of the state to the advantage of the masses.

The Emir who acknowledged the commitment and dedication of the governor towards ensuring the development of Bauchi state, noted that Bala has since assumption of office, performed beyond expectations.

The traditional ruler while expressing gratitude to Governor Bala for his respect to traditional institution and equally called for the review of the salaries of traditional rulers for effective service delivery.
