Bauchi NNPP Candidate Expresses Confidence To Win Gov’ship Election

New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) governorship candidate in Bauchi state, Senator Halliru Dauka Jika has expressed confidence that he would handsomely win the election to be the next governor of the state.
Speaking shortly after casting vote at his Kofar Buri II polling unit in Kafin Madaki town in Ganjuwa LGA, the NNPP gubernatorial flagbearer explained that it’s God that gives power to whoever he wishes, hence his optimism of getting the people mandate.
“I have the confidence that God will give me this power through his benevolence, and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) will sweep all the 31 seats in the Bauchi State House of Assembly”, Jika said.
“As you can see, I just cast my vote in my Yayaji polling unit in my Kafin Madaki hometown. So far so good based on my assessment everything is going smoothly”, the NNPP gubernatorial candidate stated”.
He added, “From all indications, we will emerge victorious base on the reports we are receiving from the situation room. My expectation is that the NNPP will sweep all the 31 seats of the Bauchi State House of Assembly”.
However, due to the late arrival of election materials from the Central Primary School in Kafin Madaki to the polling units, accreditation and vote casting simultaneously started by 10: am.
Our correspondent also reports of good turnout to the elections in most of the polling booths in Ganjuwa local government area and other areas of the state.
