Bauchi State Government has reiterated commitment to ensure effective youths engagement in Governance for rapid Development of the state.

The senior special assistant to the Governor on Youths Empowerment Hon. Khalid Garba made the disclosure during Town hall Meeting with youths held at The Command Guest House in Bauchi metropolis.

Khalid Garba Barau said in the process of finding a lasting solution to current security situation affecting The Northern part of the Country, The Northern Nigerian Governors Forum have agreed to enhance Youth inclusiveness in Governance in the region.

He maintained That The Town Hall meeting will generate resource recommendations and will be forwarded to the Forum for urgent implementation.

Khalid Barau Commended the effort of traditional rulers, Religious leaders and other stakeholders for their efforts towards restoring the lost glory of Youths in the region.

In address, The state Commissioner of Youths and sports Adamu Manu soro Commended Northern Nigerian Governors Forum for the initiative adding that was timely.

He promised to support the Initiative towards it success in Bauchi state.

Recalled that The NNGF has constituted a Committee of Youths Empowerment and Development with a representative from across the region.

The Committee where also saddled with the responsibility of Creating a robust Interface with civil society within the region.
