Bauchi State Polytechnic to resume work Monday

Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Bauchi is set to resume work on Monday 30th May, 2022, after the expiration of the two weeks warning strike they embarked on.

It can be recall that the ATAP Chapter of the ASUP had embarked on two weeks warning strike in compliance to the directive issued on 11 May 2022 by the National body of the union.

Comrade Abubakar Muhammadu, the Public Relations Officer of Students Union Government (SUG) ATAP Chapter, made the announcement in a press statement Wednesday.

He said that the ASUP Chairman Alhaji Dahiru Musa Abdullahi who made this known earlier in the week while fielding questions from Atap FM correspondent said that the two weeks warning strike expires on Monday 30th May 2022.

He said, to that regard, the students are directed to resume immediately as full Academic activities of the school would commence with immediate effect.

According to the SUG PRO, the ASUP chairman noted that the institution will few weeks after the resumption from the strike, start preparation for the second /fourth semester to enable the school finish all its activities within the time frame.

“With this, the Students Union Government (SUG) Abubakar Tatari Ali polytechnic bauchi chapter wishes the entire students of the polytechnic a very safe returning from their destinations to the school Campus as the the Academic Activities would commence on the resumed date”, the SUG said.
