Bauchi varsity disowns fake admission offer

The management of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi state has disclaimed a fake admission letter offered to one Muhammad Aisha Yahaya to study Bachelor of Law (LLB) in the university.

The Public Relations Officer PRO of the University, Auwal Hassan who stated this in a press statement on Friday, explained that the admission is completely fake.

“Attention of the Management of Sa’adu Zungur University has been drawn to a fake admission letter, supposedly from the University, issued to one Muhammad Aisha Yahaya, offering admission to study Bachelor of Law (LLB)”, the press statement reads in part.

“This admission offer is completely fake and has no basis in reality”, the university disclosed.

SAZU further distanced itself from any involvement in the issuance of the fake admission letter.

“Our admission processes are transparent, and all legitimate admission offers are communicated directly to applicants through the university’s official website”, Hassan said.

The university cautioned the general public, particularly students and parents to verify all admission offers through its official website to avoid being defrauded.
