Chigari foundation donates over N20 million to flood victims

Chigari foundation, a non profit and Governmental organisation has distributed over 20 million to flood victims across 9 local governments of Bauchi state.
In the sharing formula, each of the nine LGs had 250 people getting N10,000 each out of the total amount.
Speaking during the flag off of distribution of the money in Misau, the distribution committee chairman, Alh Ahmed Sale Jamarjo who briefed journalists stated that the committee comprised of some selected stakeholders, Traditional Rulers from each Emirates as well as the representatives of the Chigari foundation.
Jarmajo noted that 2, 250 people will are beneficiaries of the gesture across the nine LGs, added that the local Government affected are Misau, Katagum, Gamawa, Jama’are, Giade, Shira, Dambam, Zaki and Itas-Gadau.
He said that criteria was outlined for the distribution exercise to be successful, in which a beneficiary must have been seriously affected by the flood and must be resident within the nine local governments.

this assistance come at the right time, prayed to almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
In his remarks, Special Assistance to the minister on stakeholder engagement northeast, Hon Abba Garo Misau (BASKO MANGARI) appreciated the minister for the gesture as part of his personal welfare to the flood victims.
He also assured the minister that his messages will reach the victims at the right time as instructed.
In his vote of thanks as APC chairman and member of the committee, Hon Ahmed Maigari expressed delight over the gesture of the Chigari foundation under the Health minister.
“We really appreciate your efforts for considering flood victims at this material time, we are saying thank you for the assistance, may Allah reward you abundantly as you assist the needy people who were recently affected by the flood. The assistance will help in cushioning the effect of the current hardship”, he said.
