Comrade Sani Mohammed has expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed of the state for appointing as a pioneer Acting Registrar of the Bauchi Oil and Gas Academy Alkaleri (BOGAA).
Recalled that the Bauchi state Chapter Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Umar Sa’idu had while breaking the news to his members yesterday, congratulated Sani Mohammed on his new appointment.
Our Corresspondent reports that Comrade Sani who until his new appointment, was the deputy Registrar of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, also serves as the Chairman, ethics and Disciplinary Committee as well as Member in the Advisory committee of NUJ Bauchi.
“I am impressed by the solidarity of my Chairman and colleagues in the pen profession. My appointment enjoyed the widest publicity one can expect”, Comrade Sani who is also a former Bauchi NUJ chairman said.
“I thank you for your felicitations and prayer for the success of the project”, he added.
The newly appointed Registrar appealed to the NUJ to join him in appreciating Governor Bala Mohammed for the noble idea of establishing the Institution.
“I humbly request you to appreciate the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for the noble idea of establishing such an Institute at this critical stage of development of the State and for appointing one of your own on the pioneering Management team”, he said.
Comrade Sani Mohammed clarified that the name of the institution is Bauchi Oil and Gas Academy, Alkaleri (BOGAA) and not Bauchi state Petroleum Institute as perceived by some people.
