Dambam District Head to turban 10 new traditional title holders June

Preparations have climaxed for the turbaning ceremony of ten traditional title holders by the district head of Dambam, Alhaji Idris Bappah Musa Sulaiman.

The traditional title holders warming up for the turbaning ceremony include, Alhaji Auwal Shu’aibu Abubakar (Chiroman) Dambam, Alhaji Garba Muktari (2nd Magatagardan Dambam), Alhaji Makama Mohammed Dambam of ATBUTH (2nd Danmasanin Dambam), Hajiya Fatima Lantana Aliyu of ATBUTH Dambam (1st Maman Dambam) and Alhaji Muktar Hamidu Alhaji as the 1st Magajin Gwanin Dambam.

Others are; Alhaji Rufa’i Babayo Ahmed (1st Walin Gabas), Comrade Alhaji Musa Mohammed HAFYDOF Chairman Dambam (1st Wakilin Tarihin Dambam), Alhaji Sulaiman Muktari Dambam of ATBUTH (1st Ubandawakin Dambam), Qs. Muhammad Abdulhamid of ATBUTH (2nd Khatibin Dambam) and Arc. Al-amin Abdulhamin as the 1st Sarkin Ayukan Dambam.

This development was contained in an invitation card and Programme of schedule obtained by Baushe Daily Times yesterday.

The scheduled Programme for the turbaning ceremony also include novelty match and free medical outreach/blood donation in Dambam local government area of Bauchi state.

The programme schedule of the event further showed that the turbaning ceremony is going to hold on 12th June, 2022 at the palace of the district head of Dambam.

According to the schedule, the celebrants and their entourage will depart Bauchi to Misau where the novelty match will take place by 4.00pm at Misau township stadium on Saturday 11th June, 2022.

The document also showed that the would be turbaned traditional title holders will depart from Misau to Dambam on Sunday 12th June, 2022 where the turbaning ceremony will hold at the palace of the district head by 10.00am, followed by horse-riding (durbar) by 12.00pm in Dambam.

The document noted that reception will hold same day by 4.00pm during which cultural display will take place by 7pm at Dambam.

The schedule for the programme indicated that the 3-day event will be round up with medical outreach/blood donation on Monday 13th June, 2022 by 8.00am at Dambam general hospital.
