Days after defeat by APC’s Senatorial candidate Buba, Senator Gumau dumps NNPP for PDP

The Senatorial candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) for Bauchi south district, Lawal Yahaya Gumau has decamped to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State.
The Governor of the state Bala Mohammed has welcomed the Senator to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) few days after he was defeated by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Shehu Buba Umar.
Speaking, Governor Bala Mohammed said the PDP administration under his watch in the state has recorded tremendous successes.
He pointed out that the PDP remains formidable which welcomes, accommodates and mentors leaders for the benefit of the citizenry.
