Dr. Bugun celebrates Ex-Tetfund boss, Prof Bogoro for getting Dr. of Science award

Former Tetfund Executive Secretary, Professor Sulaiman Elias Bogoro has been extolled for receiving honorary doctorate degree in Science from the University of Jos, Plateau state.
Dr. Istifanus Irmiya Bugun who congratulated Professor Bogoro on the award in a press statement Tuesday, described it as a well deserved award to a worthy recipient.
He noted that Bogoro deserve more of such awards, giving his immense contributions in terms of human and infrastructural development across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Bugun who is s a Retired Director vetenary service, Bauchi State expressed delight that the university of Jos did well by bestowing the Honorary Doctorate Degree of science (Honoris Causa) on Prof. Bogoro during her 33 and 34th combined convocation ceremony.
Dr. Bugun said Professor Bogoro’s doggedness in every facet of human endeavours is a clear testimony that he is indeed a beacon of hope for the future development of education in Nigeria.
While describing Prof Bogora as a father, mentor and a source of inspiration to many people in life, Dr. Bugun said the former Tetfund boss is a man of integrity and a mentor to many Nigerians.
He said that the contributions of Prof Bogoro to the infrastructural development of Nigeria’s Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and Universities across the country are visible for all to behold.
“Giving you the honorary doctorate degree is a well deserved recognition and is a confirmation of your achievements as an academician and administrator who continues to exhibit high level of capacity”, he said.
Dr. Bugun pointed out that “many Nigerians have testified that during your tenure as executive secretary of Tetfund, Nigerian tertiary institutions witnessed massive development”, he said.
According to Bugun, the former Tetfund boss was able to solve people’s problems, provided infrastructural development at all the tertiary institutions across the country.
He prayed to God to continue to grant Professor Bogoro the ability to offer more meaningful contributions to the development of not only Bauchi state but Nigeria as a whole.
