Dr. Tilde congratulates newly appointed Bauchi university VC, Prof. Fatima

The immediate past Commissioner, ministry of education, Bauchi state, Dr. Aliyu Tilde has congratulated Professor Fatima Tahir on her appointment as the vice Chancellor of Sa’idu Zungur University Gadau, Bauchi.
The congratulatory message which was contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday was titled, ‘Bauchi: New VC of SAZUG Just Appointed’.
“The Bauchi State Govenrment has just released the appointment of Professor Fatima Tahir as the new Vice Chancellor of Saadu Zungur University, Gadau (SAZUG)”,: the former Commissioner said in the statement.
He added that “Prof. Fatima Tahir, the junior sister of the renowned scholar, late Dr. Ibrahim Tahir, has been a lecturer at SAZUG”.
According to Dr. Tilde, the newly appointed vice Chancellor came first in the list of 12 applicants who were shortlisted and interviewed for the position a month and a half ago.
“I congratulate this great sister and the SAZUG for the new appointment”, he said.
