As Muslims worldwide marks the end of this year’s Ramadan fast with the celebration of Eid-el fitr, a former house of representatives aspirant for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa federal constituency, Dr. Adamu Sulaiman Usman has urged Nigerians to celebrate the festive season with love and unity.

Dr. Sulaiman Usman made the call in a goodwill message shortly after the Eid prayer in Dass local government area of Bauchi state on Friday.

He said, “I enjoin the Muslims and all other patriotic citizens to pray for Nigeria in the pious expectation that God Almighty will hearken to the supplications of the faithfuls and bless Nigeria even more abundantly with peace, political stability and national prosperity”.

Dr. Usman also congratulated Governor Bala Mohammed of the state, Speaker of the state Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman and the entire people of Bauchi for witnessing this year’s Eid-el-Fitri in good health.

He urged politicians, religious and traditional leaders to support the administration of Bala Mohammed, Kauran Bauchi in every possible way to ensure that the state continues to make steady progress towards the successful implementation of his first and second terms agendas for positive transformation.

He commended the governor and his cabinets for using the available resources at hand to execute laudable projects across the 20 LGAs within one tenure, expressing confidence that more projects awaits the people of Bauchi state.

“As we celebrate this year’s Eid El Fitr, we must be ready to make sacrifices for the good of the country and join hands with Federal and state Government to make the country great”, Dr. Usman said.

“We must also continue to show genuine love and respect for one another and reflect on the ideals of unity, cohesion and mutual understanding as well as be humane to the less privileged members of the society,” he advised.

The former reps aspirant who prayed Almighty God to accept all the prayers, sacrifice and commitments offered during the Eid-el Fitr, expressed optimisms that with the supplications, Bauchi state and Nigeria as a whole will be a safer place for all to live.
