FUHSA begin sells of admission forms into Remedial Science Studies

Management of the Federal University of Health Sciences Azare (FUHSA) in Bauchi state has announced the commencement of sells of admission forms into into Remedial Science Studies for the 2023/2024 academic session.

According to a circular signed and made available to our Corresspondent by the Public relations officer of the University, the sales of the admission forms is to begin from Thursday 1st June, 2023 to Thursday 31st August, 2023.

“This is to inform the general public that, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Remedial Science Studies for 2023/2024 Academic session”, the circular said.

It explained that the date for the commencement of the sales of the forms starts from Thursday 1st June, 2023 to Thursday 31st August, 2023.

The Registrar assured that the Nine Months Intensive Studies will prepare candidates to compete equally along with other applicants to gain Admission into the University.

He further said that the candidates also stand the chance of getting admission into other Universities as approved by the Federal Government.

Programs available in the University according to the circular include, MBBS (Medicine & Surgery), BDS (Dentistry), B.NSC (Nursing Science), B.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics as well as B.Sc. Radiography.

For Applicants to qualify, they must have a minimum of three Credit Passes at O’ Level Result (WAEC or NECO) including English Language and any two other Science Subjects from Biology, Chemistry and Physics at one Sitting.

“Candidates MUST register for 2024 JAMB (UTME) and obtained the required score points”, the university management pointed out.

In addition, the university said Candidates MUST register and pass at credit level from SSCE or NECO in the subjects they are deficient.

While stating that Candidates with Awaiting O’level results can also apply, the circular urged interested applicants to visit www.fuhsa.edu.ng and search for the “remedial programme” from the “Portals” tab.

The interested candidates are expected to after tabbing at the portal, Create a profile on the university’s admission portal and fill-in their bio-data.

They are to ensure that they use a valid email address as all communications will be sent via email.

The circular which explained that the interested candidates are to Pay non-refundable application fee of Seven Thousand Naira only (₦7,000), added that Candidates can pay online or generate RRR and make payment at any bank.

It further explained that only payments made via applicants’ profile is valid.
