Gov Bala flags-off 34.2k road projects in Darazo, Misau, Azare LGs

Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed has on Monday inaugurated 34.2 kilometers of road construction projects in three local government areas of Darazo, Misau and Katagum.
The projects inaugurated include the 22 kilometers Darazo/Gabchiyari road in Darazo local government, dualization of 7 kilometers A.D Rufa’i College of Islamic and Legal studies in Misau local government as well as Dualization of 5.2 SECRACO round about to Emir’s palace road in Azare town of Katagum local government area.
The Governor while flagging off the project in the three local government areas, commended the benefitting communities for supporting his administration.
In a welcoming address, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Darazo, Alhaji Samaila Ya’u Sade appreciated the effort of Governor Bala Mohammed of the state for the equitable distribution of infrastructure across the state.
According to him, the road construction when completed, will impact positively in the economy and the wellbeing of the benefitting communities and by extension, Bauchi state.
On his part, the Managing Director of the contracting company for the Darazo/Gabchiyari road, Prudent Integrated Nigeria limited, Alhaji Hussaini Harazumi who thanked state government under Bala Mohammed for giving the project to the company, pledged to ensure its timely completion.
The MD who described Darazo-Gabchiyari road construction projects as one of numerous legacy projects of the Governor, noted that the project would be delivered in line with the contract specifications.
Our Corresspondent reports that the Governor who is all out to revamp the state through massive road network is also expected to within the week, inaugurate other roads in Misau, Katagum, Jama’are, Shira, Toro, Bogoro, Bauchi and Alkaleri LGAs of the state.
