Gov Bala pledges end to perennial flood in Kirfi if re-elected

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has promised to address the problem of incessant flood Disaster in Kirfi local government area of the state.

The Governor who was Kirfi in continuation of his re-election campaign Saturday, assured that the numerous ongoing projects would be completed if given the second chance come 11th March 2023.

The Governor who disclosed that his administration has a strategic plan to collaborate United Nations and do the needful, said very soon the work will commence in earnest to tackle the ugly trend of flooding and dessert encroachment in Kirfi.

According to him, his government is going to award contract for the construction of road from Barra through Gome state to communities in Kirfi local government.

Governor Bala Mohammed stated that his administration has always ensured that justice is done in the distribution of dividends of democracy across the 20 LGs of the state.

“I understand that Kirfi people have been neglected for many years because of lack of good representatives, some are using advantage to tell you lies, some are old, some mid ages, but we have learnt lesson now”, the Governor said.

Bala informed Party supporters that PDP led administration in Bauchi will continue to empower people and develop their capacity in terms of business and agricultural activities in order to drive poverty and hunger out of the state.

Governor Bala who thanked the people of Kirfi for supporting his administration, urged them to vote for the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, himself as Governor and all Candidates vying for various elective positions.
