The reelected Governor of Bauchi state, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has extended the hands of cooperation to his fellow contestants, especially the governorship candidate in the just concluded governorship and State Assembly election.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has attributed his re-election victory to the will of God and a collective struggle of the common man who placed the interest of the state above their personal ones.
According to the governor, the extension their hands of co-operation and understanding, would propel the wheels of progress towards making the new Bauchi state of their dreams.
The second term mandate carrier while making his acceptance speech signalling his victory from the just concluded governorship and state House of Assembly elections held last Saturday, the governor thanked the tumulteous crowd that besieged his victory at the polls, saying “The solidarity is unprecedented I’m the political history of the state.
“The people of Bauchi have demonstrated their true love for me. People have committed themselves to my course. I’m thanking the leadership of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The commission has played significant roles towards the success of the 2023 general elections”, he said.
He however explained, “The period for electioneering campaigns is over, it is now time to put our heads together to exploit the vast human, natural and materials resources our state is endowed with to take Bauchi state to unpresidented heights.”
Senator Bala Mohammed who said that he has forgiven all those who offended him, whole seeking forgiveness from those he might have offended, stated “I thank the youths, women, the PDP and it’s family especially it chairman Hamza Moshe Akuyam, my family members, traditional rulers and their subjects, the civil servants especially the Head of Service, but most importantly the eligible voters who give me the second mandate.”
Meanwhile, hundreds of supporters took the street of Bauchi metropolis to celebrate the victory of Governor Bala Mohammed’s second term who were playing different political songs carried the Governor’s billboards and posters while other are jubilations.
