I’m Going To Win Bauchi Gov’ship Seat Because I Am A Winner Always – NNPP Candidate

The gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Bauchi State, Senator Halliru Dauda Jika, said that he is confident that he will win the Bauchi governorship election come 18 March because he always been a winner in all the elections he participates.

“I have always been a winner. I have never been associated with failure. I am going to win the Governorship election in Bauchi.”

Jika who is the senator representing Bauchi Central while speaking with Journalists in Bauchi, said he has all it takes to lead the state and he has been well received by the people of Bauchi all through his campaigns with all nooks and crannies of the state.

Halliru Jika said, he did not step down his ambition to any candidates, “I did not step down from the Governorship for any candidate and my party has campaigned extensively. This rumour has been going round and l have in several fora said it over and over that I did not step down for any one.”

“I am going to be the best thing that has ever happened  to Bauchi. I am an engineer. I am a technician, I have the ability and the capacity to turn things around, to revolutionize the way of governance in Bauchi State.”

The NNPP candidate said that his party is the party to beat, “I the history of politics in Nigerian there has never been any political party that attained this position within a shortage period of time, the success that we have recorded so far and the millage we have gained so far,” Dokaji said.

Speaking on the recently signed peace accord by political parties in the state ahead of the March 18 elections, he said peace would reign if INEC did the needful. He therefore called on INEC, the electoral umpire, to be neutral, just and fair to all.

“I made it categorically clear to everybody that cared to listen that as long as there is no attempt to subvert the will of the people in the elections in Bauchi State there will be peace. I will abide by the rules of the game but anything else we don’t know.”
