Implimentation of promotions: Bauchi directs state own polytechnic, colleges of education to submit financial implications

In order to ensure smooth implimentation of staff promotions, Bauchi state government has directed the managements of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP) and five colleges of education to submit financial implications to the education ministry.
The directive which was signed by state Commissioner of education, Dr. Aliyu U. Tilde, dated 29th June, 2022 said that the submission should include the names of staff, promotion or adjustment with their dates, amount gained by each, among others.
“You are kindly requested to submit the financial implications of implementing any pending promotion/adjustment of the staff of your respective institutions to my office to enable the ministry seek the earliest approval of His EXCeleney”, the directive said.
The Commissioner said that the data wll be validated by the Ministry belore submission is made to His Excellency.
The commissioner mentioned the institutions concerned to include, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi, Adamu Tafawa Balewa College of Educalion Kangere, Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare, A. D. Rufa’i College ot Legal and lslamic Studies and the Bauchi State College of Agriculture.
“Please treat this matter urgently and make your submission within a week”, he added.
The directive, our Corresspondent gathered was also copied to the Secretary to State Government, state Head of service and Joint Action Committee.
