Bauchi 2023: Group pledges 1milion votes for APC’s Sadiq Abubakar

A sociopolitical group, Marshal Support Group has vowed to mobilise one million voters in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bauchi State Governorship Candidate, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The President of the Group, Hajiya Salma Tukur who made this known during a contact and sensitisation meeting of stakeholders in Bauchi yesterday pointed out that the group is robust in its approach.
Hajiya Salma said her group is doing its best to deliver one million votes to the gubernatorial candidate of the APC Ambassador Sadique as well as protect the votes to enable him win the election in 2023.
She noted that the group is restrategising and will visit all the wards across the state and continue to lobby stakeholders and influencers in order to have a strong grip of state and communities in favor of Ambassador Sadique.
“Our sensitization and campaign drive will focus on the grassroots through village-to-village and ward to ward aggressive mobilization to ensure that Sadique Abubakar secures over 1,000,000 million votes in Bauchi State in 2023 elections”, she said.
Hajiya Salma who dismissed obstacle in achieving their due to the acceptability of the APC candidate by the majority of voters who are mostly women and youth, maintained that Ambassador Sadique is the most experienced and most prepared Candidate that will take Bauchi to the promise land.
“Among all the top candidates, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar has the capacity, the network, and the know-how to take the State to the next level and salvage the state from total collapse.” Salma said.
According to her, the group has gone far on the strategies adopted to ensure victory for sadique Abubakar, adding that the first phase of the strategy shall essentially comprise of a massive grassroots mobilization strategy where registered voters would be encouraged to turn out in large numbers for collection of their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
“The second phase shall comprise of a comprehensive village to village and ward to ward campaign and mobilization and networking for effective voter turn-out for Sadique’s election”, she disclosed.
Hajiya Salma advised voters to forget about primordial sentiments and vote for sadique Abubakar who is detribalized and well prepared to unite and rescue the State.
On his part, the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Alhaji Shehu Musa Barden Gabas who represented Air Marshal Sadique at the occasion expressed readiness to take Bauchi State to the next height.
