IPMAN lift suspension, to open with immediate effect

A day after issuing a circular directing its members nationwide to suspend sells of petroleum products in filling stations, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced the lifting of the directive in a new circular.

The new circular was signed and made available to newsmen by the Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Mohammed Kuluwa dated 7th February, 2023.

The Association had in a circular dated 6th February, 2023, asked its members to stop selling at all filling stations until further notice.

However, a day after, the association issued another circular with the title, Re: Suspension of Service’, which it said the new development was in view of a meeting his association had with the authority.

“Having meet with the concern authority, all filling stations should open with immediate effect and continue selling while the association with further consultation”, the circular directed.

It promised to keep members of the association informed of any further development.
