By Mohammed Kaka Misau

The people of Katagum federal constituency in Bauchi state have been called upon to ensure that only those who are competent, tested and trusted that can deliver the much needed dividends of democracy are voted as representatives in 2023.

The call was made yesterday during this year’s Sallah durbar by the Campaign director for Dr. Umar Attah who is aspiring under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to represent Katagum federal constituency at the National Assembly.

The campaign Director, Tukur Abdu Azare who is also the Wazirin matsango, said it is by voting credible persons into public office that the much required development can be achieved.

“I want to draw the attention of the general public to ensure that only those with proven integrity and competency are voted. The politicians should be voted based on their track records of achievements, based on their previous contributions to the development of their areas”, he admonished.

He warned the electorates against voting for those who have nothing to show on ground as their past record of achievements.

“Now things have changed, we wouldn’t want a situation where people will just vote for those that have not contributed anything for the development of our Communities, you have to vote for people like Dr. Umar Attah due to his track records of achievements”, he added.

Tukur called on the people of Katagum, most especially the delegates to ensure that Dr. Attah is voted to fly the ticket of the APC in the coming 2023 general elections.

“People know who Dr. Attah is and his track records of achievements, and I am sure they are in his support. We also believe in the ability and willingness of our party to do justice to all the aspirants in such a way that only credible ones will fly our tickets to the general elections”, Tukur further explained.

The campaign Director called on the people of not only Katagum federal constituency but Nigeria as a whole to vote for the All Progressive Congress (APC) which he said is a political party that has the interest of the masses at heart.
