New Medical Director FMC Azare, Dr Dauda receives appointment letter

Dr. Dauda Abubakar Katagum has been formerly presented with the letter of his appointment as the substantive Medical Director of the Federal Medical Center Azare by the Minister of State for Health, Hon. Joseph Ekumankama on Thursday.
It can be recall that Dr. Dauda, also a traditional title holder of Zanna Dujiman Katagum was appointed to replace the former medical director.
President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier approved the appointment of Dr. Dauda as the substantive medical director of the FMC Azare in a letter dated 9th August 2022.
The letter which was signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation noted that his appointment was with effect from 4th August 2022.
The letter had said that the appointment of Dr Dauda Abubakar Katagum is to last for an initial tenure of four years.
