PDP tackles group over recall move against Rep Gurka

The Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Zaki Local Government Area of Bauchi state has on Sunday tackled some group of people for attempting to initiate a recall move against the member representing Zaki local government area of Bauchi state at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Honourable Muhammed Dan – Abba Shehu Gurka.
The PDP described as baseless and unfounded, all the allegations levelled against Hon Shehu Gurka by the group orchestrating the recall plan under the umbrella of 35 coalition of organizations.
The Secretary of the party in Zaki Local Government Area, Ibrahim Chiroma stated this in a press release with a title: “the Notification of so called coalition Represented by thugs politicians in Zaki L.G.A.
The party said that “the allegations levelled against Shehu Gurka was baseless and unfounded by the so called 35 coalition
organizations”.
According to the PDP in Zaki local government area, the people behind the plan are groups of no body who had started initiating the move by instigating some group of youths to divert their confidence so that they will agree with their mitives.
“At the process of gathering them, some of them refused to comply with their useless coalition”, the PDP said.
While stating that Honourable Dan- Abba deserved to be commended in all aspects, the PDP said, the Federal Lawmaker has brought progress to both his constituency.
“Therefore, the P.D.P Zaki Local Government has
distanced itself from thug’s politicians.Their intention is to destabilize the unity
and progress of the people of Zaki Local Government”, the secretary pointed out.
He explained that members of the coalition are not members of the PDP but product of the opposition party.
“We are calling on all law-abiding citizens to desist or distance themselves from such selfish act”, the PDP said.
The Secretary of the PDP in Zaki who maintained that the party remains united and unshakable in the face of the opposition, advised the people of the local government to support Hon Shehu Gurka in his effort to improve their living standard.
