Peaceful conduct of voters, large turn out impresses Bauchi Gov

Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi state has expressed delight over the peaceful conduct of voters and their large turn out at various polling units during the Saturday presidential and National assembly elections across the state.
The Governor who spoke to newsmen after casting his vote at his polling unit 008 Bakin Dutse, Yelwan Duguri Model Primary School at his home town, Alkaleri local government area, described the use of the BVAS as effective.
Bala Mohammed also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to extend the effectiveness and transparency exhibited to the March Governorship and State Assembly elections to consolidate on the successes recorded so far.
The Governor who commended the peaceful conduct of voters at his hometown who waited patiently to exercise their franchised, expressed hope that PDP candidates would emerge victorious.
Our correspondent reports that the Governor Bala Mohammed, his wife, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed exercised their franchise at about 10:30am after been accredited.
