Rep member for Katagum wins at tribunal

The National Assembly election petition tribunal sitting in Bauchi has confirmed the victory of member representing Katagum federal constituency, Honourable Auwalu Audu Gwalabe of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as winner in the last general elections.

Hon Auwalu Audu Gwalabe won at the tribunal against his rival Hon Ghali Maji Abdulhameed of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Gwalabe who spoke in an interview with Baushe Times Friday appreciated the effort of members of his political party PDP for supporting him with prayers during court case.

He assured the people of the consistency of his readiness to bring them dividends of democracy as their representative at House of representatives.

The Lawmaker further appreciated the effort his political party at state level and other stakeholders of the party who stood with him all through the court case.

Hon. Gwalabe while calling on the youth in his constituency to be law abiding, assured them of better days ahead.

According to him, he will ensure that job opportunities are made available to the youth and women.

Hon. Gwalabe said a lot of skills acquisition training opportunities would be created for the teaming young unemployed constituents to benefit.

The Lawmaker thanked Governor Bala Mohammed of the state and the Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam for their support guidance in his political journey.
