Resumption: UNIMAID resumes academic activities.

The management of the University of Maiduguri has released a circular directing both staff and students to resume academic activities from 26th October.
In a statement signed by the Director Senate and academic Matters of the University Mr. Filibus Yamta Mshelia explained that academic activities would resume on 26 October in the University and General studies test and examination will also commence from November 7th respectively.
The statement added that staff and students should be to the slated date as academic activities resume fully and unfailingly.
The management further wishes staff and students a safe return to the University and completion of the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic Section.
This is coming after the Academic Staff Union of universities ASSU has suspended its industrial action that lingers for eight months.
