We’ll work harder than we did in our first tenure- Governor Bala

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi has assured the citizens of the state that the present administration under his watch is fully prepared to work harder than during the first tenure to further consolidate on the already gained achievements.

The Governor who made the pledge in a goodwill message to the christian Community on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebrations, said he will work towards the provision of more democracy dividends in his second tenure.

“Let me assure you that as we commence our second term after receiving your massive support during the elections conducted earlier this year, we will work harder than we did during our first tenure to provide more dividends of democracy in the area of infrastructure, education, health and economic empowerment”, he said.

According to the goodwill message which was signed and made available to newsmen by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muktar Gidado on Monday, Governor Bala said his administration is going to do more on all other programmes that have direct bearing on the citizens’ socio-economic wellbeing.

“We would reinvigorate and strengthen our administratrative machinery and capacity towards realizing these noble objectives”, he said.

Governor Mohammed called on the people of Bauchi state to continue to support and cooperate with his administration as it relentlessly execute developmental programmes and projects throughout the nooks and crannies of the State.

Bala Mohammed who wished the Christian faithfuls a merry Christmas, prayed that the occasion will be observed peacefully.
