Why I dumped PDP for NNPP – Bogoro house of assembly aspirant

An aspirant for the position of house of assembly Bogoro constituency of Bauchi state under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Honorable Philip Bulus said he dumped the party for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) over imposition of Candidate by the party.
The aspirant who recently failed in his bid to fly the PDP ticket ahead of the 2023 general elections, alleged that the party stakeholders imposed a candidate on the people of the area.
He accused the party of changing the real names of the delegates by replacing them with fictitious ones.
He said, as a result of the development, he had no other option than to dumped the PDP and join New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The reaction of the PDP house of assembly aspirant for Bogoro constituency was contained in a letter dated 22nd day of May, 2023.
The letter was addressed and conveyed to the ward party chairman Mr. Andarawus Ayuba at Mwari, Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Philip, said he has now joined the NNPP to deliver the good people of Bogoro constituency from the forces that have held the constituency down.
“My commitment for rescuing our constituency will remain firm even if the route differs”, Philip vowed.
It was gathered that Philip decamped alongside thousands of his supporters who were aggrieved by the lack of the internal democracy in the PDP.
