ZDA President, Engineer Galla Extols virtues of Late Zaar legend, Baba Boyi Bar

As the body of one of the Zaar/Sayawa legends, Baba Wakili Boyi Bar was laid to rest in his Bar hometown on Friday, the National President of Zaar Development Association (ZDA) World-wide, Engineer Isuwa Galla has described him as a person among the fore-runners of the early phase of Zaar struggle.
Galla who made this known in his message of tribute to the Late Legend, pointed out that Baba Boyi along with late Baba Peter Gonto and other disciples struggled for the emancipation of Zaar people through the famous Zauren Baba Gonto.
He recalled that the Zauren Baba Gonto was a platform that later led the way to champion the plight of Zaar people and other tribes that have long been living peacefully and harmoniously.
According to him, the peaceful co-existence paved way for the creation of the Sayawa (Zaar) Chiefdom to be headed by substantive Gung Zaar that will be appointed by the state Governor.
“He is a patriot, a statesman, full of zest, fearless, uncompromising, rich in wisdom”, the ZDA President said.
Engineer Isuwa Galla further explained that, in his style, Late Baba Boyi does not subscribed to violent approach as he is a person whose keen interest and stride before his death, was to see a unified, modified and emancipated zaar land.
“Despite all forms of injustice, maltreatment, imprisonment and persecution meted to them, they were resolute in their quest”, he said.
The ZDA President who noted that age and time came as sunset to the late Zaar icon, said that the entire Zaar nation cannot thank him enough for taking the bitter side of their struggle.
“His resilience, doggedness and dexterity are character traits about him we must continue to learn and immortalized”, Engineer Galla further said.
The ZDA President who revealed that he was privileged to speak with the late legend on several occasions, confessed that at a point, he started recording him when he speaks.
“I understood his pains, wishes and future he expect zaarland to dwell on. Indeed Baba have fought a good fight, and have finished the course and kept the faith”, he said.
The ZDA President further observed that the quest late Baba Boyi inherited from Baba Peter Gonto which he now passed to the next Generation is enormous, adding that words alone cannot express how sorrowful Zaar nation is about his departure.
“But we find solace on the very fact that you lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation and celebration. We will surely keep the fire burning until victory is achieved”, Galla assured.
