2023: Bauchi APC Unity Group Warns Party Members Against Divisive Tendencies

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Unity Group in Bauchi, Muhammad Nurudden has called for unity, understanding and tolerance among party members so as to not only face the election hurdle, but also ensure that the party regain its loss glory in the state.
“We want the general public, most especially members of APC, to know that Mallam Adamu Adamu (Minister of education) and Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara have the same goal for the party. We totally condemned any act that will lead to loss of APC in the upcoming elections. The people of the state would be at the receiving end”.
Alhaji Nurudden Muhammad who led the group members to the Bauchi APC Secretariat for a solidarity visit yesterday, said that people of Bauchi state will not forgive them should the party failed to recapture the state in the forthcoming general elections.
Muhammad, who said that the main aim of the group is to save people of Bauchi and overthrow the PDP led administration in the state which could not be achieved without unity, hence they are against any individual, or group that sees business, relevance or chance in separation for their selfish interest.
Muhammad said, “Calling on the party to suspend, query or dismiss any member of the party for attending a meeting invited by stakeholders of any party is to ridiculous and dangerous to the party. Tolerance and compromise is the best option”.
According to him, Bauchi state is suffering from bad governance with no record achievement in infrastructure, education systems had totally collapsed, sending half of state secondary school students out of school thus adding to the social problem of theft, rubbery and thuggery.
He said, “This government has done nothing in rural development; there is no new rural electrification project in the state. Our ministry for agriculture is asleep, just like other ministries, this government has not even produced fertilizers to the bonafide farmers of the state as compared to our overthrown government”.
Responding, that state APC chairman, Babayo Aliyu Misau, represented by state party secretary, Mustapha Shehu Zirami, thanked members for the group formation charted to bring unity and cooperation amount, saying his main goal is to ensure unity and togetherness of party members, and that he would not relent until victory is achieved.
Also speaking, one of those party henchmen behind the formation of the group, Comrade Sabo Mohammed spoke on the closeness of Mallam Aadamu Adamu and Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara in the party, saying disintegration of the working relationship between the duo means jeopardizing the activities of the party in the state.
